Yes you issue is overheating, without a doubt. I suggest you or someone else if the dust is a issue, opens the computer up and cleans the fans and inside of it.

As for your comment above Chapter 1 and factions are both downloaded to any machine not matter which one you own. So you always download factions or chapter 1, always.

oh and i also has some problems with turning my comp on after it shuts itself down, i got new power supply, but still some weird things happen - every time i'm trying to start it - by pressing POWER - fans are staring to work just fine and cd-roms leds wink to me couple of times but then nothing happens.... i have to use RESET button repeatedly for a few min and then out of sudden miracle happens and it starts itself... but not the normal start-up screen - it looks like i'm actually rebooting it.... it happens every time i'm staring it, even if i turned it off day be4 w/o any problems....

lol i was doin that too untill my dad gave me shiot about it

when it hapens, do not start reseting 200 times untill u get lucky and it works. yes its hard cuz me too i get impatient but all u can do is WAIT. i noticed that after it does the "desktop on strike" thing, i just leave it alone. i go in anouther room just so i donr hit it with a baseball bat and when i come back to it in 5 minutes i see Windows starting

u just changed your power suply? maby its your VID card that cant handle the insane/big;/fast graphics so it shuts down as "self defence" measure? or your PC works VERY hard to send/receive data, and if it doesnt have enouth free memory to manipulate that data properly it gives up?

anyhow ill post details soon, because all i know i posted

BUT STOP RESTARTING YOUR PC, just leave the room for 5-10 min and when u com eback u see a windoes runing.

it took me 2hrs to start the thing today... i was soooo mad and of cos i restarted the thing million times in the row..... why its happeneing - cos of vid card? or do i need more RAM? pls post evrthing ur dad say
